Founder and Clinical Director
Nevada TMJ Institute was founded by Dr. Mark Escoto, who has practiced dentistry in Las Vegas, Nevada for 25 years.
A graduate of University of Nevada at Reno, Dr. Escoto received his DDS degree from the University of the Pacific in California.
He is a founder with Diplomate status in the College of Forensic Orthopedics. He also holds Diplomate status in the American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Escoto attained the distinguished credential of Mastership at the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) in Vicenza, Italy. Dr. Escoto is a member in good standing of several dental associations, including the Nevada Dental Association, County Dental Association, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and International Association of Orthodontics.
Dr. Escoto is active in a variety of local charities. He currently provides donated dental services to kids affiliated with Boys Town of Las Vegas, and is a board member. He has performed free dental services for Donated Dental Services, Wednesday’s Child, the Huntridge Teen Clinic and has established Gift of A Beautiful Smile, a foundation to provide dental services to kids in need.
